Amnesia is one of the clubs you go to because you want to feel like you’re properly in Ibiza.
It’s big, loud, unapologetically club-focused and still one of the island’s most recognisable venues.
Positioned less than a kilometre from the new hyperclub frontier, Amnesia remains a steadfast pillar of the island’s nightlife heritage. Since its mid-1970s origins as an open-air manor house, it has evolved into a twin-room powerhouse famous for its sunrise sessions on the Terrace. The venue represents the “pure” clubbing experience, where acoustic excellence and crowd energy take precedence over the high-gloss luxury seen in other districts.
The internal layout of Amnesia is strategically divided between the Main Room—a dark, industrial “techno box”—and the Terrace, which retains the expansive feel of its outdoor history despite being fully enclosed. This dual-chamber design allows the venue to host contrasting soundscapes simultaneously, often pairing deep techno with melodic house or high-energy commercial hits.
It’s a proper nightclub.
It’s dark, loud, busy and can get seriously hot. The atmosphere builds as the night goes on, and the Terrace remains the room many visitors are most keen to experience.
The key thing is to look at the event rather than simply deciding that “Amnesia” is the night.
Current 2026 programming shows how different the nights can be, from house and tech house through to techno-focused events.
